No more rain, no more cold and a cute dog. Time for a picnic at the park!!
I've been dying to use my fairly new picnic basket I bought off a college student on Craigslist. Cost me only ten bucks! It's insulated and came with 4 plates, 4 cups, silverware and napkins. LOVE IT. For this day's picnic we had egg salad sandwiches, celery and apples with peanut butter, and some cherry cream soda. Sparkles had beef jerky =)
Griffith Park is huge. So huge, in fact, that we found a super old carousel. This carousel happens to be the very one that Walt Disney used to take his daughters to. He also thought of Disneyland while sitting on one of the benches watching his girls ride by. Just a little Disney trivia for you!
Sparkles looked super cute with her pink and brown bow on. Unfortunately, everyone wanted to pet her because of this, and all she wanted to do was bark at them! haha! Something we will improve on with time....Green Holiday

For St. Patrick's Day, we met up with friends Erinn and Arevik. We went to a super cute, very Irish tavern called Tom Bergin's. It's the oldest Irish establishment in Los Angeles (1936). Unfortunately, the restaurant was packed AND overpriced. I think I cried a little when we got the bill. But the food was fantastic and perfect. So I guess it was worth it!

What a nice week. That picnic sounds idyllic! Yum...egg salad sandwiches. I haven't had one of those in a long time.
