Night one, we went to Blockbuster and picked out a movie. I'm such a grandma, I feel asleep while it was on! haha! Not a great start at showing how cool I am =p

Day two, Kyle and I went to Disneyland! Of course we did! We actually ran in to my friend Michelle and his friend from school, Shelby! I guess it really was spring break! Since my birthday was only a week away and his graduation is coming up, I got us celebration buttons
from Guest Relations. My button said "Happy Birthday" and his button said "Just Graduated". Disneyland's theme is celebration, so we were really celebrating =) It
was SO FUN to have Kyle all to myself, all day/night! We had a lot of catching up and bonding time =p It was fun to be a "big sister" for a day. I love that kid... er, man!
Day three, Jan-Michael and I took Kyle to Hollywood and Universal Studios City Walk. We ended up eating at Buca Di Beppo where they sang "Happy Birthday" to me in Italian. I read on their menu that you get a giant cupcake if your birthday is within 7 days. So, at 6 days, it was totally justifiable. Free dessert! Later when we got home, we celebrated Easter (see post above)! Birthday and Easter in the same night =)
Kyle left Monday morning as I left for work. I was really sad for our time to end. I'm so grateful to be part of his life and so thankful that he wants to be part of mine. Christy and Ken, you are the best extended family EVER and have such a wonderful son! I am so proud of him =) We love you Kyle!

That is neat that you are close with your brother. Did you run into Michelle Gooch?
Yay for Disneyland. That is awesome that you get to go so often.
I think it's awesome that you have been able to stay close to him all these years. It's a unique situation that your family has dealt with amazingly well!
