Our Valentine weekend began with a movie at the Americana. Our friend, Scottie, came to visit. He and Janelle went to see "Dear John" while Jan-Michael and I went to see "The Lightening Theif". Funnily enough, none of us liked our movie choices! I think I need to read the Percy Jackson series and then maybe I'll like the movie better. I've actually read Dear John, so maybe that would have been a better
choice. Our movie let out earlier than theirs, so we went over to the new cupcake store, Crumbs. Their cupcakes are huge and intense! There's filling in each one. Jan-Michael was so surprised how fast he was filled up by one cupcake! Our two cupcakes picture here were "Ooh la la" with a brownie shaped heart on top, and "Chocolate covered strawberry". They're devine! Welcome to our neighborhood you sinful bakery!
We've finally had some nice, sunny and warm weather. With us being cooped up because of the rain and our colds, we decided to seize the day and go to Universal Studios. Being a holiday weekend, it could have been very crowded. Lucky for us, their ticketing system was down so annual passholders owned the park! Ya hoo! There were a lot of characters out, including Zorro and Elena. Yay couples! Our picture with
them didn't turn out because the sun got caught in it, but we caught a short "show" they did a couple hours later completely by accident. We finally bought a donut and drink inspired by The Simpsons. I've been wanting to try them since the attraction opened. The pink donut is as big as my head! The "Duff Beer"
is actually an energy drink. Honestly, both were pretty gross! LOL Although the sun felt nice, and we had fun, it probably wasn't the best idea to be running around. Jan-Michael has caught my weird, lasting-way-to-long, flu-like cold. When we got home, he pretty
much slept through the next day =( Although I've taken antibiotics due to the ear infection, I still seem to have the strain. It's getting better, but it's still there. That means my poor husband will be sick for a long time.

Fievel? Nice. I like how you can see Doc Brown's Chicken in the background of that one picture. I like your pink shoes that picture by the fountain.
