Indiana Reunion

Last weekend I drove to Indiana for the Thomas Family Reunion (my Mom's side of the family). We only get together every 2-3 years, so I'm glad it was close enough for me to join. It was a whole weekend of family fun. By the time you're getting used to seeing everybody every day and enjoying their company, everyone leaves. I think family reunions are teasers for "what could have been" if everyone lived in the same state. Dang it! I'm truly blessed to have such wonderful family members. Day one, we had a pot luck with games and photo videos. After the "reunion", we went to a family pizza joint where the kids could go crazy playing games. Day two, we went to the Indiana State Fair. Boy was it HOT and HUMID!! Didn't make for a very long day two. Then everyone went back to their home states. Day three, my Mom and I went to this cute cafe by her new house. It's themed after the Andy Griffith Show!! It didn't rain all weekend, but of course rained on my drive home. I had to pull off twice because I couldn't see. See you all in a couple years!!
