Happy birthday to my Mother-In-Law Twillet, who celebrated her 62nd birthday on Tuesday! She decided to celebrate by going out to eat at our favorite pizza and wing joint. Jan-Michael and I got there first and decided to order a few appetizers and drinks while we were waiting. You can guess by the pictures that we didn't expect to be getting a drink THAT BIG. In fact, I was pretty embarrassed as just the two of us sat there, looking like a bunch of alcoholics, waiting for everyone else to show up! Obviously it became our table celebration drink because there was no way I'd ever try to finish that off. Jan's brother Rich and friend Narlu drove up from Pittsburgh to wish Twillet a happy birthday and joined us for dinner. We took all sorts of pictures with the "Shamrock" since it was so huge and funny. After dinner, Twillet got to slice in to her Boston Cream Pie and open gifts. Nothing beat the pizza though =) Mmm Mmm
By the way- since we had NO idea we were getting a drink that big, it made us a little nervous to get the bill! Living in CA has taught us valuable and expensive lessons about drinks that have no prices on the menu. Luckily, that huge honkin' thing was only $7! $7 for 7 people.... not bad!

LOL! That drink is HILARIOUS!! Out here, it would have been like $20, not $7! Mmmm, that pizza looks soooo good!

haha yeah... I got a TINY drink on Sunset blvd and it was freakin' $20.00. That thing would have cost like $45 there. They have something like that in Tucson called the Scorpion and it's "only" $14 :P
