WELL......... this is it! The big move. Oh my, what am I thinking?!! I figured out that I have moved 5 times in the past 5 years. 8 times in the past 8 years. 4 of which were to different states. I blame it on the Spanish Gypsy blood. Of course, I've moved my whole life. I won't even tell you how many elementary schools I went to.... Anyway, you'd think I'd have it down to a science by now. But I don't. Even if I feel more prepared than the last, it's still
stressful. Yet every time I move I always say "I'm never moving again!" I think I better stop saying that because I seem to just be jinxing myself. Alright, I'll stop rambling. This past week, we had our yard sale, my last day at work was Friday, and Sunday was our farewell party. I knew that friends
wanted to throw parties for us, but I thought it would just be easier to have everyone come to one place instead of us traveling to multiple houses. SO we had a little farewell dinner at Ruby
Tuesday's. It was nice because we basically took over the bar section and all it's little tables. Then we had a photo shoot (practically!) and opened gifts. Our parents bought us 4
new tires for my car!!!! Totally a blessing. I'm so happy we got to see friends at least one last time (although Jan will still be in PA for another month!). Thank you Ellen, Angela, Rusty, Robert, Daniel, Stacey, Laura, Rich & Twillet for coming!!
We just finished loading my poor car. It's filled to the rim... not that I haven't done that before, but NOT like this! I just hope we don't get a flat tire because I'm not sure I'd be
able to rearrange everything back INTO the trunk! My old roomie, Domonique, is flying in tomorrow and we're leaving Wednesday morning. Whew. We have a long drive ahead of us. Truthfully, I think I'm more excited about the drive than actually moving to CA! We're stopping in Nashville AND Dallas! Two cities I've been dying to go to! Plus I get to see my Uncle Everett & Aunt Carrol and my Uncle Garry & Aunt Tina! Domonique and I should be arriving in CA by Sunday. We're driving through West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico and our home state, Arizona. Until then, pray we make it there safely!!

Good luck and be safe! Roadtrips are awesome!!!
Good luck you two! I LOVE cross country road trips. Brian and I are hoping to do another one after the baby is a little older to go and show him off to our out-of-state friends and family. Obviously, we're hoping he does well in the car!
