Last Wednesday, after we just said goodbye to my parents and were still drowsy from seeing Harry Potter 6 at midnight... we celebrate our 4 year anniversary! Dating anniversary, that is. For about 2 years now, I've been dying to eat at a place called The Stone House. I found it on the internet while we were still living in CA. I decided I wanted our PA reception to be held there. Little did I know that during the winter, most touristy places are closed. That was one of them. It stays closed through Easter. 
Not that it would have been big enough for our reception. The point is that I fell in love with it! For our one year wedding anniversary, my in-laws gave us a gift card for the Stone House, so we finally used it. The food was amazing. I was expecting mediocre and was so wrong. It was fabulous! One day, I hope we can actually stay in one of the president-named rooms...The Stone House(formerly Fayette Springs Hotel), was built as a resort in 1822 by the Honorable Andrew Stewart following the opening of the National Road in 1818.
