Pink Is My Signature Color. Legally Blonde!!!!!

The past Saturday, we finally saw the show we had been waiting for: Legally Blonde the Musical!!!! It was a pink day, as you can see! Instead of parking near the theatre, this time we decided to be little adventurers and parked at Station Square to take the train/subway. It was a really cool experience because the train has to go over the water and then under the city. We got to the theatre early to get our hands on some Legally Blonde merchandise, which was pretty disappointing. Everything they had at the theatre is the exact some stuff you can find online. Very little to buy, and not enough pink for me. I settled on the Legally Blonde heart bracelet and a kid's shirt (only the kids shirts sparkled). Our seats were directly in front of silly and loud 12 year olds, who were so excited to see the show, and yet they talked through the entire thing! Of course! No matter, the show was AMAZING!! The sets were slightly different than those on broadway and they changed a line or two in some of the songs. I loved the new cast! Becky Gulsvig was perfect as Elle Woods. She sounds like Reese Witherspoon. Ellen and I were so excited that 2 of the cast members from the MTV-Search For Elle Woods show were in the cast! Lauren was part of the ensemble and Rhiannon was one of the Delta Nu girls! During curtain call, Becky came out where a Penguins Stanley Cup Champions shirt! Way to get in the spirit of your touring town! After the show, we ran to the stage door, waiting for our MTV super stars! They all came out and were really nice! We took pictures with Lauren, Rhiannon and Becky. YAY! Then we made our way back to the subway and to Station Square. We dined at the Hard Rock Cafe and took pictures of Pittsburgh's pretty skyline. Snaps for a wonderful day!
