If You Faint, They Will Remember You

Cheers! Here's my latte toast as promised! I found the most amazing coffee shop on the way to the doctor's. I saw it on my way to my first appointment, but needless to say, I wasn't really in any condition for walking-even if it was for a yummy latte. This time, however, Jan-Michael and I walked to the cute college "main street" and I instantly fell in love with this delightful coffee bar! It's called Caribou Coffee. No, there is probably not one near you... heck, there's not even one near me! It's decorated in wilderness fashion, complete with a fireplace. My latte was actually called a Campfire Mocha, which consisted of marshmallow and mocha flavorings as well as cute little marshmallows on top! I am in love.
Originally this appointment was for the removal of my "metal thingy". I still can't remember what it's called... However, about 2 hours before our departure, it came off on it's own. I decided to freak out and cried when I saw that there was still a HOLE and that it was not the promised "small scar", but instead, quite round and large. My appointment then turned into a "wound check" in which the Attending said it was fine... scars don't always turn out how you want them. UM, where's the plastic surgery ward?! Only joking! Here's the best part... my actual Doctor shows up with my biopsy results because she said she saw me and remembered me. "I always remember patients with abnormal rashes, but since you also fainted, I definitely remembered you." Wow, I am lame.
Biopsy results, not very conclusive. It's either a) some type of eczema... I can't remember. So what else is new? That's nothing! b) Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus, a mouth full. I'm putting $100 on stupid eczema. But cross your fingers because I really don't want blood work or another biopsy done.
Next week, we will be toasting with frozen yogurt! I saw a shop near the coffee bar that reminded me of Pinkberry. YUM!

Hooray for coffee and Legally Blonde, and BOOOOO to your stupid biopsy crap! And to think, you have to drive all the way to bloody Pittsburgh just to have them torture you more!?! Fingers crossed the drama will be over soon...

What?! You might have lupus??? Somewhere House is turning over in his grave. You know, he would be if he were dead. Maybe he just got chills or something. You know, if House was real. Anyway, stop scaring me and get better.

I knew it! They DO remember the fainters! Crap. I'm getting my blood drawn on Monday and the last thing I need is for all the nurses to remind me of my last mishap. Anyhow, I hope that you don't have that second possibility. Keep us informed!
