Happy St. Patrick's Day! This state loves holidays, I've learned. Who knew that St. Patty's day would be such a big deal? I mean, a huge parade in Pittsburgh, everyone wearing Irish shirst, celebrations all weekend long... It was great! Have to love festive people! I've never done much for the green holiday, other than wear green and eat some corned beef and cabbage. But now, I've married in to the Irish and apparently, live in a pretty Irish/Polish state! We joined in the celebration and met some friends down at a restaurant that has a year round St. Patrick's Day countdown. Lucky Leprechauns were the names of the drinks Angela and I are holding. Yes, they were GREEN! Has anyone heard of the Shamrock Shake? I never did until I met my husband. He loves them! They're mint flavored shakes McDonald's sells around this time. And yes, they are green! They're pretty good I have to admit...
