September Adventure: San Diego

Although I'm like a month and a half late posting this, we really did have a nice new adventure in September over Labor Day weekend!
We have been to San Diego before, but hadn't ever stayed on Coronado Island. Plus, we stayed at a Navy base! Yep, it was a good adventure.
My Dad decided that once a year, we should stay on Coronado Island. And this was the first year! It would give the AZ folks a break from the heat and Jan-Michael & I a break from driving to AZ! I thought it was a pretty good plan and can't wait to go annually!
This particular weekend also happened to be my Dad's birthday weekend as well. Happy Birthday Dad!
It was also the first weekend we have ever put our dog, Sparkles, in doggie boarding! She stayed 2 nights at Golden Paw "Resort".  I'm sure she had a great time, but I was missing her and feeling guilty LOL!
Some of the things we did:
Ferry to Sea Port Village
Toured the USS Midway
Rented a boat and went boating
Visited Hotel del Coronado quite often
Ate, shopped, and had a merry time!

Can't wait to go next year and do NEW things =)
