Our roommate and my best friend Janelle moved to Florida to work at Disney World. Yes, you knew that part. But we threw her an awesome Disney Masquerade Farewell Party! Also, because she moved out before our lease ended, she brought in her friend Lindsey to take over her portion. SO we actually still have a roommate.
We threw an end of summer luau party! Originally intended for my birthday- the supplies were there, why not throw a party? I made pina colada cupcakes that were incredible! And Sparkles wore her luau outfit! So cute!
At the end of August, I switched jobs! I now back working for my old boss (meaning the job I had before Jan-Michael and I got married and moved to PA). We've kept in touch over the years and when he lost his full time office manager, he came back to me! I'm so lucky! A lot has changed though since I left and I've been playing catch up. The office has also grown, both with clients and employees. It has been quite the transition! But I'm happy to be back working for a company I believe in and a boss who is exceptional! Plus I can WALK TO WORK. That's amazing, I know!
My Dad came to visit in September for Memorial Day weekend and his birthay! For the first time ever, we went to the Ronald Regan Library. It was pretty incredible. We also went to the L.A. County Fair (another first). It's probaby the biggest fair I have ever 
been to in my life! And of course, my Dad and I had a father-daughter day at Disneyland =)
In the middle of September, we had far-away visitors from Pennsylvania! Our dear friends Ellen, Stacey and Laura came for about five days. We played tour guide around L.A., Hollywood, Disneyland, Universal Studios and Horror Nights. We even went to a taping of Chesley Lately (they love that show!). It was so nice to see their pretty faces! It had been WAY too long! Come again soon ladies!!!
My favorite Disney movie was re-released, which meant another amazing event at the El Capitan theatre! Beauty and the Beast! My good friends Scottie, Arevik and Danielle joined me as we had breakfast with Belle and sang-along to Beauty and the Beast in the El Capitan Theatre.
We are moving. Yep, our lease is finally up and Jan-Michael and I are finally getting our own place!!!!!!!!! I know, you can't believe it! Neither can we. We have never lived on our own since we got married. That's three years of having roommates! Pretty strange for a married couple, but hey, you do what you gotta do! Anyway, that's finally ending and we are moving in to a studio. We should be moved in by the end of this month. Details coming soon........
Up and coming- a visit from Summer! Miss Australia herself is back in the states and coming to CA! I'll be soaking in her visit because she's moving to JAPAN! Special girls trip to Vegas towards the end of her stay is in the works too. Vegas baby!
And that's our life in a nutshell!
