It's That Time Of Year Again!

For a couple days now, it has been snowing. But it wasn't until yesterday that it started to stick.

See how the grass is still green?

I call these "snow flowers"! Don't they look like it? haha!

Last night though, the ground froze and suddenly, the snow was sticking even more. It started piling up, little by little. This morning, we woke up to a winter wonderland! And it's still snowing! Who knows, maybe it'll stay cold enough to keep piling up and we will have enough to make a good snowman!

As happy as I am about it finally snowing, I'm a little nervous. This is the first year I will have to DRIVE in it! I've heard so many stories about car accidents caused by black ice and snow. Just keep us in your prayers!

Drive slow!

Snow is so beautiful...when I am looking at it from inside a warm house! - I'm still an Arizona girl at heart.

Driving in snow is not too bad...it's the ice that is scary. I agree with Steven (I don't know who he is, but he is wise)...drive really slow. Some Utahans here like to brag about how fast they can drive in ice and snow - but it isn't worth it to me!

Oh dear, you don't need any more car dings, so be careful! Gosh, you go from AZ to Cali (sunshiney) to SNOW! How do you get used to that?! Awesome!
