Pampered Chef


I just wanted to say thank you to my Mom, Christy, my Dad, Aunt Jenny, and my Mother-In-Law for ordering from my Pampered Chef Catalog show! Because of them, I was able to purchase a set of stainless steel pots and pans at 60% off! Not to mention a few free goodies too. I am so excited to cook in them when we move in to our new house! Now if anyone is a pro at cooking in stainless steel- a few tips would be appreciated =)

We have stainless steel, but I won't claim I'm an expert by any means! Here's the biggest thing I've noticed: Because there's no teflon or non-stick coating, certain things stick like crazy. Eggs, pancakes, french toast, grilled cheese... so if it's something like that, grease up nice and good with some healthy veggie oil or spread.

I handwash all of our stainless steel cookware, but that's because our warranty goes out the window the first time I put them in the dishwasher. I don't use metal spatulas or anything else that would scrape the steel.

We love ours. Hope you get the hang of it! And searching on google probably has much better advice than I do. :)

Yay for new pots and pans! I have to agree with Jody that things stick! I throw some butter in the pan when I make omlets (sp?)
