Christmas Cheer- Small Town Style

The other night, we attended a live Nativity at a church in town. They blocked off the street and performed outside. Besides it being cold, it was wonderful. Afterward, we went inside for hot cocoa, cookies, and a showcase of personal Nativity sets. What a way to get into the Christmas spirit!
The next day we decided to go towards Pittsburgh to do some Christmas shopping. It was amazing how drastic the attitudes differed from those here in our small town. I was quite astonished. You would think I'd be used to the rudeness, coming from a big city- even L.A! Let me tell you Pittsburgh, you are NO Los Angeles, so check your attitudes!
Anyway, it's nice to come home to, what I like to call, my own little "Everwood". I am being a bit dramatic- Uniontown isn't THAT small... trust me, you haven't seen small until you go to Peru, Indiana! But I'd like to say congratulations to Uniontown for keeping that small town spirit. Merry Christmas!!

What a great experience. If you were cold, can you imagine the performers? Yikes! I am such a baby when it comes to being cold. I am glad you are so happy!

Oh, I have always wanted to live in a small town! How wonderful! And snow! I wonder if you will be tired of snow by next year. :)
